I had a few people come up to me and ask about battery grips for camera bodies. Theres a few misconceptions what battery grips do, the following DOES NOT, increase megapixel and increase f stop. The ONLY thing that a battery grip does for a camera is increase usage of camera, meaning you can use the camera longer then you would use with 1 battery. An addiction battery grips has a vertical button for portrait shooting. Highly recommend manufacture grips for your camera, third party grips work but I like to keep all my gear "all in the family" and goes for batteries as well.
